Good By DVD rentals

This post is a bit off the beaten path from what I usually report on, but I had to comment on this story. Renting movies will become something of the past. This article is about Netflix partnering up with Disney. That is one big partnership, one bad thing for rental stores like Blockbuster and Pick-a-flick. It is about streaming of television series. I really don't know if they will be doomed by more streamed movies and t.v. shows but I do know that it won't help. Check it out.

  1. Most of those stores are on their last legs. They charge too much for their product. Why get something from them, when you can go to RedBox and rent the same thing for $1.00. Moreover, streaming movies and the cable company on demand movies making it even a tighter market. This is certainly not the arena for being competitive. This is nothing like the potential for companies to compete through the use of Internet Marketing in which there is still a potential to be competitive.
